Mercury Systems is seeking aspiring solderers to support production operations on PCBs and PCBAs. You will demonstrate skill with SMT and through-hole soldering, rework, and repair, following IPC standards.

The role involves interpreting routers and schematics, performing inspections, and collaborating across shifts to ensure quality and on-time delivery. On-site work with potential for varied schedules and standard Mercury benefits.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) procedures.
• Onsite soldering assessment to J-STD-001 standards during the interview.
• Must have meticulous hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Typically requires 3+ years of electronics assembly and inspection experience with in-process soldering (both through hole and surface mount).
• Must be able to work for extended hours utilizing a microscope to perform inspection and solder touch-ups.
• Experience Hand soldering.
• Rework/repair, wire attach, and mechanical assembly.
• Must be detail oriented and able to multitask.
• IPC-610, J-STD-001 and 7711/7721 certification.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule in order to meet production and customer needs.

Responsabilidades

• Use soldering irons to attach electronic components with SMT and Thru hole technologies.
• Interpreting job routers, written instructions, wiring diagrams and schematic drawings for assembly of electronics
• Performing a variety of inspections to ensure assemblies meet/exceed IPC standards
• Performing pass downs with outgoing/incoming shifts
• Modifying, soldering, reworking, repairing assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications, drawings, and work instructions
• Other duties asassigned by Lead or Supervisor
