Ducommun Incorporated is seeking an SMT Operator to load, set up, and stage components for pick and place machines on the SMT lines. The role supports setup/tear down, cycle counting, and manual placement of SMT/PIH parts in a state-of-the-art facility in Huntsville.

Qualifications

• Read and understand load plans.
• Read and understand production drawings.
• Basic component identification.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down feeders for all pick and place machines.
• Cycle count components after each production run and notify stockroom of variance.
• Assist operator in setting up and running all pick and place machines.
• Manual placement of SMT and PIH components.
• Handle hazardous waste in work area.
