Job summary

Ducommun, Inc. in Huntsville, AR is seeking an SMT Operator to load and assist with setup and staging on SMT lines, and to support setup and tear down of feeders.

The ideal candidate will read load plans and production drawings, perform component identification, build electronic assemblies, and conduct preventive maintenance using a multimeter. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load and assist with setup and staging of product on SMT lines.
• Assist the operator in setting up and running pick and place machines.
• Perform manual placement of SMT and PIH components.
• Cycle count applicable components after each production run and notify stockroom of variances.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their area.

SMT Operator

:Load and assist with
setup and staging of product on the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) lines.

Job Summary

• Perform setup and tear down on all feeders for all pick and place machines
• Cycle count all applicable components after each production run and notify stockroom of individual part count variance.
• Assist the operator in setting up and running all pick and place machines
• Perform manual placement of SMT and PIH components
• Performs other duties and assignments as required
• Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area.

• Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft and Outlook programs (Excel, Word, Internet Explorer)

Required Experience and Education

• H.S. Diploma or GED
