Job summary

Ducommun Incorporated in Huntsville, AR is seeking an SMT Operator to load and assist with setup and staging of product on SMT lines. You will help set up feeders, run pick and place machines, and ensure correct component placement.

Qualifications

• Read and understand load plans.
• Read and understand production drawings.
• Identify basic components.
• Build electronic assemblies.
• Intermediate computer skills (Excel, Word).
• Communicate issues effectively across the organization.
• Perform preventive maintenance with tools including a multimeter.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup and tear down on all feeders for all pick and place machines.
• Cycle count all applicable components after each production run and notify stockroom of variances.
• Assist the operator in setting up and running all pick and place machines.
• Perform manual placement of SMT and PIH components.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Responsible for proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area.
