Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a technician for component rework and SMT processes in a fast-paced EMS environment in Carrollton, TX. You will safely desolder and replace defective BGA/SMT components using rework systems, prepare pads, apply paste, and ensure precise reflow profiles for reliable solder joints.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 1-2 related years of experience, IPC soldering certifications are a plus, and strong attention to detail and teamwork are

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent and 1-2 related experience.
Experience in BGA rework, component-level repair, and SMT processes.
Certifications: IPC soldering certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely desolder and replace defective BGA/SMT components using automated/semi-automated rework systems.
Prepare PCB pads, apply solder paste/flux for new components.
Align components and execute precise reflow profiles to ensure strong solder joints.
Conduct quality inspection and use X-ray to verify solder integrity per IPC-A-610.
Maintain logs, track repairs, and follow ECOs/MPIs; ensure ESD and safety compliance.
