Job summary

Steel Technologies LLC is seeking a CTL (Cut To Length) Operator in Blytheville, AR. You will set up and operate a slitter per customer specifications, measure dimensions with tape measures, calipers, and micrometers, and inspect gauge calibration to ensure quality in every batch.

Responsibilities include threading coils, cropping non-conforming material, assisting maintenance, and keeping the area clean while meeting safety standards. Lifting up to 50 lbs and working on site are expected.

Qualifications

• Set up and operate slitting equipment per customer specs.
• Use measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Follow safety rules and prevent defects during processing.
• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and handle material safely.

Responsibilities

• Make and inspect arbor and overarm set-ups for production instructions.
• Thread coil through slitter head and crop non-complying material.
• Operate slitter and adjust setup to correct defects as needed.
• Maintain gauges, document measurements, and ensure calibration.
• Support maintenance to troubleshoot malfunctions and perform PMs.
• Record scrap removal and keep work area clean and safe.
• Communicate non-compliance issues to supervisor promptly.
