Job summary

Sandvik AB in Surprise, AZ is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to accurately check products, process documents, and package materials for orders shipping to customers. The associate must work in a fast-paced environment and be versatile within the shipping area, supporting other functions as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 4-6 years of shipping/receiving experience, and proficient use of MS Office.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
4-6 years shipping and receiving experience preferred.
General knowledge/use of MS Office products.
Knowledge and ability to perform basic math skills.
Strong working knowledge of receiving documentation such as invoices or packing slips.

Responsibilities

Package products correctly and ship to customers.
Maintain inventory levels for future sales.
Utilize plant operating software to receive production work orders.
Verify the correct destination (customer, inventory, etc).
Verify the accuracy of all shipping functions such as labeling and all packaging information.
Manage inventory counts.
File paperwork in appropriate customer file.
Manage the housekeeping duties of the shipping area.
Measure and inspect incoming materials.
Ability to drive a forklift is a plus.
Other duties as assigned.
