Job summary

Umicore is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to support daily warehouse operations. You will ensure accurate, timely handling of shipments and maintain organized inventory with proper documentation.

The role involves working with SAP, carrier systems, and handling materials up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package outgoing shipments in accordance with work instructions and customer requirements.
• Verify and process shipping documentation including bills of lading, packing lists, invoices, and purchase orders.
• Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damage or discrepancies, and distribute materials appropriately.
• Report and resolve issues such as shortages, damaged goods, or non-conformance.
• Utilize SAP and carrier systems (UPS, FedEx, etc.) to manage shipping and receiving transactions; ensure all paperwork is complete and accurate.
• Assist with unpacking and repacking specialized materials; maintain organization and proper identification of shipping/receiving and storage areas.
• Perform cycle counts and monitor inventory levels of shipping supplies; ensure shipping and receiving equipment is in good working condition.
