Job summary

Arning Companies, Inc. is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to accurately receive, store, and deliver materials while ensuring BOL accuracy and proper material condition. You will keep ERP and physical inventory aligned through timely processing.

You will inspect items on receipt, label/barcode correctly, compare POs to packing lists, and perform cycle counts. Proficiency with forklifts, pallet jacks, and scales, plus data entry, is required. Safety and quality adherence is essential.

Qualifications

• Receive, store, and deliver materials accurately and in a timely manner.
• Inspect received materials and label/barcode correctly.
• Compare purchase orders with packing lists for accuracy.
• Conduct regular inventory and cycle counts.
• Operate tools and equipment safely (hand tools, power tools, forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Maintain organized records and data entry in ERP system.
• Commit to safety and quality policies.

Responsibilities

• Accurately receive in, store, and deliver materials in a timely manner.
• Inspect materials upon receipt, label/barcode materials accurately.
• Compare purchase orders with packing lists for accuracy.
• Communicate receiving issues with the purchasing department.
• Conducts inventory and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, powered industrial vehicles, hoists, and digital scales.
• Demonstrate basic computer skills, keyboarding skills, and data entry.
• Ability to learn the ERP system, and other systems as required.
• Record keeping / must be well organized.
• Customer service minded, team and detail oriented, and driven to continually improve.
• Adheres to all safety and quality policies and practices.
