Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory control preferred.
• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory or tracking systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work physically active.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and completeness.
• Log and track all incoming and outgoing packages using inventory or tracking systems.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
• Distribute packages and materials to appropriate university departments in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with periodic inventory counts.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified).
• Ensure compliance with university safety standards and shipping/receiving procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and university staff regarding shipments.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
