Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical welding cert/degree preferred.
• Must pass D1.3 weld certification as part of pre-hire assessment.
• 1+ year welding experience.
• Experience with GMAW, FCAW, GTAW.
• Able to pass visual and bend tests on various materials.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and follow welding procedures and drawings.
• Use calibrated measuring tools to fit up assemblies.
• Work with tools: plasma cutters, oxyacetylene torches, carbon arc air.
• Weld parts in various positions and materials (steel, aluminum, stainless).
• Maintain equipment and work area; follow safety guidelines.
• Assist in other production areas as needed.
