Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a sheet metal laser operator in a fast-paced factory environment in Florida. You will read blueprints, set up laser and related equipment, and ensure quality and safety during production.

Responsibilities include maintaining machinery, performing inspections, and recording labor estimates on orders. Applicants should have SAP experience, Lean understanding, and the ability to multi-task.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and engineered drawings.
• Ability to load and unload machines with various materials.
• SAP system experience and basic Lean manufacturing understanding.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints from designers and engineers.
• Load and operate the Timesaver laser and other machinery as specified.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools.
• Accurately record labor estimates on production orders.
• Keep work areas compliant with 5S standards.
