Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO in Florida is seeking an experienced fabrication/assembly technician to read blueprints, load and operate machines, deburr parts, and handle sheet metal using precision tools. You will ensure parts are tracked in SAP and maintain 5S workplace standards while prioritizing safety.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, strong measurement skills, blueprint reading, SAP experience, and the ability to work overtime in a fast-paced environment, with the team to deliver

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Numeracy and measurement skills for countersink depths and sheet thickness.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineered drawings.
• SAP system experience and basic Lean understanding.
• Ability to work in a high paced environment and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints from designers and engineers.
• Load and operate Timesaver and waterjet removal tools.
• Manually deburr parts with hand tools and countersink sheet metal.
• Operate Bridgeport Mill to countersink sheet metal.
• Unload/load raw materials and perform cycle counts.
• Move sheet metal with vacuum lift and crane; forklift certified.
• Record labor estimates on production orders and keep 5S in work areas.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality checks at the source.
