• Physical capability to lift and move steel safely.

Responsibilities

• Shear machine operation: set up, operate, and monitor equipment to cut steel to required dimensions.
• Material handling: load/unload steel with cranes, forklifts, or other equipment.
• Quality inspection: measure finished pieces against customer specs.
• Equipment setup: adjust blades and gauges per job requirements.
• Safety compliance: follow OSHA procedures and PPE use.
• Production documentation: record data and job completion details.
• Machine maintenance: perform cleaning and lubrication.
