Job summary

Silfex Inc., A Lam Research Company is seeking a Shaping Manufacturing Technician to apply hands-on skills and an eye for detail to create ultra-pure silicon components used in advanced technologies. You’ll set up and operate shaping equipment, follow precise specifications, and use measurement tools to ensure top-tier quality.

You’ll receive training and ongoing support to grow professionally while delivering impact on products used around the world.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
0-1 years manufacturing experience or related experience.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

Understand and apply detailed specifications before starting any machining task to ensure quality precision.
Read and understand blueprint and work instructions to determine procedure for machining product.
Operate machinery in accordance with training and equipment guidelines.
Machine parts per work instructions and customer specifications.
Inspect each finished part to ensure it meets all specifications and Silfex quality standards.
Use measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
