Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform basic shop math including geometry and fractions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate shaping equipment following specifications.
• Read blueprints and work instructions to determine machining procedures.
• Machine parts per work instructions and customer specifications.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality per Silfex standards.
• Maintain machines and keep workspace clean and organized (5S).
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Follow Lean manufacturing concepts and Quality Procedures.
