Silfex Inc., A Lam Research Company in Michigan is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 2 to set up and operate shaping equipment, follow exact specifications, and use measurement tools to ensure ultra-pure silicon components meet tight tolerances.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, and proven ability to read documents, perform basic shop math, and work both independently and on a team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply detailed specifications before starting any machining task to ensure quality precision.
• Read and understand blueprint and work instructions to determine procedure for machining product.
• Operate machinery in accordance with training and equipment guidelines.
• Machine parts per work instructions and customer specifications.
• Inspect each finished part to ensure it meets all specifications and Silfex quality standards.
• Ensure proper handling and care of machined components.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork in a timely manner
• Maintain machine to ensure consistency of product.
• Carry out special projects and all other appropriate and reasonable duties that may be assigned from time to time.
