Job summary

Silfex Inc., A Lam Research Company in Ohio is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for the D shift (6pm–6am ET). You will train on advanced machines to create precision silicon components for the semiconductor industry in a clean, high-tech environment.

The role emphasizes 5S, safety, quality, and the ability to read assembly drawings, perform routine maintenance, and record data in ERP systems. Training is provided, with 12-hour shifts and a strong teamwork culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
• 0-1 years of manufacturing experience or relative experience.
• Ability to interpret instructions and assess drawings to ensure product quality.
• Must be safety- and quality-minded.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines that support the Silfex manufacturing and finishing processes.
• Learn and perform 5S in and around work area by enacting lock out/tag out.
• Develop proficiency in 1–2 designated processes through hands-on training.
• Record quality and production data in batch records, ERP systems and logs.
• Maintain cleanliness of area and perform routine housekeeping tasks.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to keep equipment functioning.
