DRiV Incorporated in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a Set Up Operator to prepare and run mechanical and hydraulic production equipment. You will set up tooling, adjust settings, and monitor machines to meet production schedules while maintaining safety and a clean work area.

Responsibilities include inspecting for malfunctions, performing minor repairs, conducting quality checks, and documenting production data. Experience in manufacturing and blueprint reading preferred; 90-day probation applies.

Formación

• Minimum 6 months previous manufacturing experience required.
• Set Up Operator job classification may be designated prior to completing 90 days employment if employee demonstrates ability to set up and operate assigned equipment independently.

Responsabilidades

• Set up equipment in department by changing tooling and adjusting tooling to correct clearances and specifications.
• Uses blueprints and route cards to set up assigned equipment.
• Visually inspect machines to locate malfunctions.
• Dismantle machines to access problem areas and perform minor repairs.
• Start machines to test operation after repairs and perform quality checks on first and last piece.
