Job summary

DRIV-LOK is seeking a Davenport - Setup Operator in Sycamore, IL to set up and run Davenport machines, ensuring products meet quality specs. The role requires reading prints, selecting tools, performing minor repairs, and maintaining records.

You will document SPC data, manage loads, and work with engineering/maintenance to optimize tooling and processes. This full-time on-site position offers hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read shop drawings and process sheets.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments and SPC data entry.

Responsibilities

• Set up Davenport machines to meet quality requirements.
• Lubricate, clean, and maintain assigned machines.
• Select proper tooling for each job and adjust speeds/feeds.
• Document data and record keeping (first piece, lots, job cards).
• Read and interpret prints and process sheets accurately.
• Collaborate with supervision, engineering and maintenance.
