Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a production/operator to set up mechanically controlled equipment and ensure parts meet blueprint specifications. You will install tools, adjust speeds, and perform first-piece inspections while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications include reading diagrams, tape measure use, and the ability to learn quickly. Overtime readiness and teamwork are essential in this role.

Responsabilités

• Set up mechanically controlled production equipment (press brakes, saws, drills, spot welders, etc.).
• Installs tools, dies or fixtures to produce parts to blueprint tolerance and specifications.
• Uses wrenches, hoists, gauges and precision measuring equipment.
• Sets speeds, feeds and depth of cut adjustments.
• Ensures first piece inspection is performed and approved.
• Marks approved piece as sample for operator.
• Ensures safety devices function; reports irregularities to supervisor.
• Maintains clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Maintains accurate production and quality records.
• Performs weekly machine inspections.
• Performs material handling as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
