Job summary

Schaeffler Group USA Inc. is seeking a manufacturing operator to set up and program operating machines, oversee ramp‑ups, and support maintenance for downtime prevention. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to read blueprints, and strong attention to quality and safety across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to use measuring instruments and identify defects
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communications in English
• Ability to operate medium-complex machinery for inspection
• Good visual acuity
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects
• Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment
• Preferred: experience with power tools
• Preferred: ability to read blueprints

Responsibilities

• Set up and programming of operating machines including accuracy and effectiveness checks in first test sequences
• Oversee ramp up of machines after setup procedure and support Operators in operating the machines
• Support maintenance in the repair, prevention of downtime and inspection of machines
• Follow documented procedures and processes and maintain accurate records and tracking
• Check finished product/product component and submits for approval
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of PPE at all times
