Job summary

Schaeffler, a global technology leader, seeks a qualified operator to set up and program operating machines, oversee ramp-up, and support maintenance to minimize downtime. You will follow procedures, document results, and ensure product quality through inspection and proper PPE usage.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, English communication skills, and the ability to operate medium-complex equipment. Local candidates authorized to work in the US are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to use measuring instruments and identify defects.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communications in English.
• Ability to operate medium-complex machinery for use in inspection.
• Good visual acuity.
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects.
• Authorized to work in the US without employment visa or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Set up and programming of operating machines including accuracy and effectiveness in test sequences.
• Oversee ramp up of machines after setup procedure and support Operators in operating the machines.
• Support maintenance in the repair, prevention of downtime and inspection of machines.
• Follow documented procedures and processes and maintain accurate records and tracking.
• Check finished product/product components and submit for approval.
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of PPE at all times.
