Job summary

Interstate-Packagin is seeking a Seamer/Inspector to operate designated machines and ensure product quality. You will read job jackets, verify colors and measurements, and communicate issues to supervisors.

The role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision on rotating shifts. The ideal candidate can read a tape measure, perform basic math, and maintain clean work areas while supporting the setup of subsequent runs.

Qualifications

• Quality oriented with strong attention to color accuracy.
• Able to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Lift 50–75 pounds; operate with or without mechanical aids.
• Stand for long periods and work in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand job jackets/orders and establish quality checks.
• Operate designated seamer/finisher machinery and maintain safety practices (GMP).
• Communicate issues to supervisor and maintenance, and document data entry.
• Keep work area clean, assist in setup of next job, and complete required cleanup.
• Accurately measure and verify dimensions, colors, and tolerances.
