Job summary

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a packaging line operator to monitor, inspect, and assemble finished goods in a fast-paced production environment in Indianapolis, IN. You will read packaging documents to verify product specifications and observe machines to ensure quality and conformity, stopping machines and reporting issues when needed.

Responsibilities include removing finished items, separating rejects, stocking supplies, and recording data.

Qualifications

• Ability to tell when something is wrong or likely to go wrong (recognition of issues)
• Ability to observe details such as color variations and contamination
• Ability to perform precise hand-arm coordination for small parts assembly
• Ability to follow packaging/work instructions and identify defects
• Ability to load/unload, stack, and package products accurately

Responsibilities

• Read packaging documents to determine product specifications.
• Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of products to standards.
• Remove finished packaged items and separate rejects.
• Stop or reset machines and report malfunctions to a supervisor.
• Stock and replenish packaging supplies and inspect for defects.
