Job summary

MacLean-Fogg is seeking a skilled Screw Machine Operator for the Mooresville, NC facility on the 2nd shift (1:45 PM–10:00 PM). You will independently operate screw machining equipment, inspect parts, read blueprints, and document production data to ensure safety, quality, and throughput targets.

Expect to use micrometers and calipers, maintain a 5S workstation, and perform intermediate troubleshooting. This hourly, full-time role emphasizes accuracy, reliability, and continuous process

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in a closely related machining or screw machine role.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and blueprints.
• Strong math, written, and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient with measuring tools and gaging instruments.
• Broad knowledge of screw machine operations and production practices.

Responsibilities

Your Day at MacLean-FoggStep onto the floor of our Mooresville, NC plant and take ownership of a screw machine cell. You’ll start your shift reviewing work orders and blueprints, dialing in feeds and speeds, and confirming first-piece quality with calibrated gauges.
