Brakebush Brothers, Inc in Wells, MN is hiring a Scaler/ Transporter for 1st shift to weigh boxes per specifications and perform QA checks. You will handle labeling, stamping, and dating, while maintaining process flow in a high-noise, temperature-varied facility.

Responsibilities include operating packaging equipment, arranging packing area, and ensuring paperwork and data entry are complete. Candidates should be able to stand 8 hours, bend and lift, and pass a company physical.

Qualifications

• Display positive attitude and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to frequently bend, lift and twist.
• Must pass company physical classification test for essential functions of the position (back and task).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Wexxar and tape machine.
• Arrange packing room for the product being run.
• Perform frozen temperature and metal detector checks.
• Advise packers of product type and how product is to be packed.
• Weigh all boxes to meet minimum weight and counts.
• Ensure proper label, stamp and date code are on boxes.
• Keep work area clean.
• May be required to bend, lift and twist frequently throughout the work shift.
