Empirical-Food in South Sioux City, NE is seeking a Sawing Machine Operator to set up and run saws, mark and cut parts, and ensure quality. You will measure and verify cuts, adjust feeds and speeds, and maintain tooling and coolant in a busy machining department.

Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, operating forklifts, and keeping accurate records of material and processes. High school diploma required; prior machining experience preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read a tape measure and use measuring devices.
• Prior machining experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Set cutting speeds, feed rates, blade tension, and blade tilt.
• Position, secure, and guide material on saw.
• Check and maintain coolant, lubrication, and oil levels.
• Install or adjust saw blades; sharpen or replace blades.
• Operate forklifts as needed.
• Maintain and inspect equipment and perform housekeeping.
• Read blueprints and verify cuts.
• Record material cuts and inventory as required.
• Perform duties with or without accommodation.
