Job summary

TAIT is hiring a Saw Operator to read blueprints, identify material needs, and correctly set up and operate industrial saws. You will use precision measuring tools, ensure parts meet tolerances, and handle inbound/outbound logistics with attention to quality and safety.

The role offers steady hours and opportunities to learn CNC router operations and crane/bending skills. Ideal candidates have a High school diploma or GED and are comfortable using Epicor and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or trade school graduate, or 1 year manufacturing saw experience preferred.
• Willing to train the right candidate if no industrial saw experience exists.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and diagrams and measure with accuracy.
• Working knowledge of Epicor, Slack, Box or similar tools is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams with limited assistance.
• Identify material and tooling requirements and set up industrial saws.
• Operate a variety of saws and use precision measuring tools.
• Manufacture parts to documented tolerances and deliver finished parts.
• Track labor hours and material in Epicor and participate in safety practices.
