STS Metals Inc in Irwindale, CA is seeking a 2nd Shift Saw Operator. The role offers $22.00–$26.00 hourly pay with overtime potential. You will set up and operate sawing equipment, measure and verify cut dimensions, and maintain a clean, safe work area in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have experience with saws, blueprints, and measuring tools, plus a high school diploma. This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of saws, blades, guards, feeding devices and coolant flow.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, basic blueprints, and measuring tools.
• Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate sawing equipment, measure and verify cut dimensions.
• Record production results and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Meet tight tolerances while following strict safety procedures.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Cross-train and advance into operator or lead roles over time.
