Responsibilities

• Operate horizontal and vertical band saws and other cutting equipment.
• Read work orders, blueprints, and cut lists to determine material needs.
• Measure, mark, and cut raw materials to precise specifications.
• Verify dimensions using measuring tools.
• Load, unload and safely handle metal materials.
• Identify and label cut material for next stages.
• Inspect materials for quality and report defects.
• Maintain production records and counts.
• Perform routine housekeeping and basic maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Collaborate with production, fabrication and shipping teams.
