Job summary

JE Technology Solutions, Inc. is hiring a Saw Operator to set up and run saw equipment for steel and aluminum parts at our Apopka, FL facility. You will verify dimensions, inspect cuts, and maintain safe, efficient operations on a 2nd shift basis.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, hands-on experience with metal-cutting saws, and strong measurement skills using tape measures and calipers. This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and a commitment to quality and safety.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
Experience operating a band saw or similar metal-cutting equipment.
Ability to use tape measure and precision tools; pass measurement assessments.
Understand basic machine setup, blade selection, and material positioning.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Set up, adjust, and operate saw equipment to cut and process materials per orders and drawings.
Review job requirements, material type, dimensions, tolerances, and priorities before starting.
Select blades, guides, and settings to ensure safe operation and quality cuts.
Measure and verify materials with tape measures and calipers to ensure specs.
Load, position, secure, and stage material for cutting; operate material-handling equipment as needed.
Inspect completed cuts for accuracy and conformance with standards.
Change blades, perform routine checks, and report safety or maintenance concerns.
Maintain a clean, safe work area; work with team to meet production schedules.
