Job summary

Qwikkit is seeking a Sanding Operator to prepare MDF cabinet components for adhesive and thermofoil application. You will operate orbital and square sanders, identify surface imperfections, and ensure parts meet quality standards before moving to the spray booth and vacuum press.

You will learn to track production output, maintain equipment, and follow 6S and safety procedures while coordinating with CNC, spray booth, and press teams.

Qualifications

• Must be able to identify scratches, router marks, dents, and uneven surfaces.
• Ability to follow written and verbal production processes.
• Capable of performing repetitive tasks accurately and consistently.

Responsibilities

• Operate orbital and square sanders to prepare MDF cabinet components.
• Remove CNC router marks, scratches, dents, lines, and other surface imperfections.
• Sand edges, profiles, and detailed areas without changing dimensions or design.
• Inspect components before and after sanding to meet quality standards.
• Rework or identify parts that do not meet surface-quality requirements.
