Job summary

Benedettini Cabinetry in Rosenberg, TX is seeking a skilled Cabinet Sanding Technician. You will utilize pneumatic orbital and other sanding methods to ensure finish quality across cabinet doors, rails and stiles.

You will review production paperwork for quantities and wood species, perform quality checks, and repair defects prior to finishing. The role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 20 pounds, and adapt to occasional additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• One to three years related experience.
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions and memos.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate pneumatic orbital and other sanding methods to ensure finish sanding quality of cabinet doors, panels, rails and stiles.
• Study production paperwork for quantities, sizes and wood species to be hand sanded.
• Quality check all articles to be sanded.
• Perform wood putty/repair for defects prior to finishing.
• Communicate substandard quality items to leads and supervisor.
• Hand sand or orbital sand all articles to finish quality.
• Must have flexibility for other duties.
