Job summary

Smiths Interconnect, a Molex company, in Salisbury, MD, seeks an Alignment Technician to join our production team. You will assemble components and subassemblies with precision, following procedures and schematics to ensure quality and reliability.

Operate equipment, read instructions, calibrate test instruments, test performance under environmental conditions, and participate in documentation and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Able to read and interpret simple instructions and schematics.
• Proficient in using mechanical inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, pin gauges).
• Able to communicate effectively with peers and leaders.
• Willing to work with others to achieve team goals.
• Identify process problems and learn new Information quickly.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned equipment as instructed.
• Calibrate test instruments per specifications.
• Align filters to correct RF parameters and read network analyzer outputs.
• Test and record performance of subassemblies under defined conditions.
• Troubleshoot and repair filters as needed.
• Assist engineering with tuning documentation and processes.
