Job summary

DC Fabricators (DCF) seeks a Receiving Inspector for an on-site role at our Florence, NJ facility. You will oversee the receipt, initial quality inspection, and labeling of delivered material, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and documentation.

Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of industrial inspection experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with suppliers and government representatives. On-site duties include audits and reported inspections.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of inspection experience in an industrial environment; government contracts a plus.
• Must follow directions, work independently, and be detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Receive, quality check, label all incoming inventory.
• Compare quantity and part numbers with procurement data to ensure order accuracy.
• Inspect purchased parts and materials for conformance to specifications.
• Inspect items for defects and dimensional accuracy per prints and standards.
• Approve or reject items and record inspection results.
• Review certification documents for compliance with PO and specs.
• Travel to material suppliers for inspections and audits as needed.
• Interface with customers and government representatives regarding material compliance.
