Job summary

SMITHS TUBULAR SYSTEMS - LACONIA is seeking a Receiving Inspector to perform visual and dimensional checks on purchased parts, components, and raw materials. The role involves inspecting new parts, reworked parts, and tubing for conformance to specifications, reading drawings, and maintaining accurate records.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with 3–6 months of related experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 3–6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews Certification Packages for accuracy and compliance.
• Reads work orders and uses IMS to determine inspection methods.
• Maintains database and spreadsheets.
• Reads drawings and specifications.
• Measures components and tubing with measurement tools.
• Verifies calibration of measurement tools.
• Moves material to warehouse stock locations.
• Prepares paperwork for Outside Processing.
