Job summary

Taurus Industrial Group, LLC is seeking a Receiving Clerk to ensure accurate receipt, inspection, and documentation of materials for Taurus facilities. You will record goods in inventory and ERP systems, coordinate with Purchasing and field teams, and resolve discrepancies quickly.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years in receiving or inventory control, with ERP experience (Trimble Viewpoint) preferred and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years in receiving, warehouse, or inventory control preferred; industrial/construction experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with purchase orders, packing slips, shipping docs, and inventory systems.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Trimble Viewpoint) preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, email, and data entry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to lift/move up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipment documents against POs, packing slips, and delivery docs.
• Record received goods in inventory and ERP systems.
• Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to Purchasing and vendors.
• Maintain organized records of all receiving documentation for audits.
• Support returns of defective or incorrect materials via RMA process.
• Communicate with vendors, drivers, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure materials are properly identified and routed to storage or operations.
