Job summary

Express Employment of Covina is seeking a Receiving Clerk for our client located in Claremont. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors.
• Hands-on experience using measuring tools and equipment.
• Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge and wiring diagrams reading preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming materials and supplies for damages, shortages, or overages and report issues to the Purchasing Department.
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices for accuracy.
• Sort, label, and scan received items into ERP systems to maintain accurate inventory tracking.
• Notify appropriate departments of received items to help expedite deliveries.
• Maintain accurate documentation and filing records for received materials.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve shipment discrepancies or inventory issues.
• Prepare and stage packages and documents for outbound shipments, including returns to vendors (RTVs).
• Ensure packages are properly secured and labeled for shipment.
• Assist with delivering office items and materials to other departments as needed.
• Support shipping and delivery coordination.
