Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Missouri is seeking a Quality Technician to verify first article and in-process components via CMM, following standard work instructions. The role supports Manufacturing Technicians, troubleshoots, and helps develop programs.

You will partner with Operators, Buyers, and Engineers to resolve dimensional challenges, maintain inspection records, perform 1st article and in-process inspections on the shop floor, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience inspecting machined parts required.
• 2 years experience blueprint reading required.
• Experience using precision inspection tools/measuring equipment and familiarity with calibration requirements required.
• Proficient computer skills with Solidworks and Microsoft Office preferred.
• CMM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partners with Operators, Buyers, and Engineers to drive dimensional challenges to resolution.
• Uses 5S to improve cleanliness, reducing takt time and increasing consistent outcomes.
• Perform 1st article & in-process inspections of manufacturing processes from the shop.
• Maintain data documentation records based on retention requirements.
• Accurate and timely completions of DMT (defective material tags).
• Maintain inspection files, database system and DMT tracking.
