Job summary

Guhring is seeking a quality inspector to perform geometric dimensional inspections on received goods, first article, in-process and finished cutting tools. You will read blueprints and use inspection equipment with minimal supervision to ensure conformance to specifications and customer requirements.

• Inspect to drawing specifications for accuracy.
• Measure tools per Guhring specifications and customer requirements.
• Inspect tools for visual defects.
• Measure tool geometry and characteristics.
• Document measurements including non-conformances on inspection reports.
• Complete inspection reports per customer requirements.
• Consult with engineers and production personnel as directed.
• Perform internal process audits as directed.
• Keep work area clean at all times.

Responsibilities
