Job summary

Guhring, Inc. is seeking an inspector to perform dimensional inspections on received, first article, in-process and finished cutting tools. You will read blueprints and use precision equipment with minimal supervision to ensure conformance to specifications.

Responsibilities include documenting measurements, coordinating with engineers and production, and performing internal process audits while maintaining a clean work area. Associates degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 3–5 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.
• Experience in ISO-certified environments preferred.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect to drawing specifications for accuracy.
• Use inspection equipment to measure tools per Guhring specifications and customer requirements.
• Inspect tools for visual defects and measure geometry and characteristics.
• Document measurements including non-conformances on inspection reports.
• Complete inspection reports per customer requirements.
• Consult with engineers and production personnel for information as directed.
• Perform internal process audits and keep the work area clean.
