Job summary

Brady Corporation is seeking a packaging and inspection associate in Milwaukee, WI. You will read and interpret work orders and blueprints, inspect in-process and final packaging to specification, and operate turret rewind and packaging equipment.

You will record data, move orders, and maintain supplies while meeting safety and quality standards. The role requires basic math, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and frequent standing.

• Ability to handle diverse responsibilities and duties daily.
• Willingness to adjust regular schedule including weekend overtime.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to use a line gauge for measurements.
• Proficient with basic math operations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing and walking.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, specifications and drawings.
• Perform in-process and final inspection packaging to spec and shipment.
• Set up, operate and troubleshoot packaging equipment.
• Accurately record data per spec electronically or manually.
• Package and move orders efficiently to finish goods.
• Deliver packaged products to finish goods and maintain supplies.
• Use computer programs to create labels, enter data and send emails.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and department supplies.
