Job summary

GTC is seeking a detail‑oriented quality inspector to validate dimensions, finishes, and features of precision components as part of our DoD program. You will read complex blueprints, perform inspections with CMMs and gauges, and document outcomes to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related quality inspection experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret complex blueprints/specs; identify materials, finishes, and tolerances.
• Verify features using CMMs and precision instruments: micrometers, calipers, V-blocks, sine bars, dial indicators, gauge blocks, height gauges.
• Conduct first‑run and first‑article inspections on fabrications and assemblies.
• Document inspection outcomes; produce clear, defensible reports; analyze defects and recommend corrective actions.
