Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Quality Inspector to verify high-precision mechanical components in an ISO 9001 environment. You will read engineering drawings and ASME Y14.5 GD&T, and use micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and test indicators to ensure product conformance.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured components.
• Utilize precision metrology tools to verify dimensional and visual conformance.
• Maintain inspection records and support nonconformance investigations.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections using approved methods.
• Use micrometers, calipers, height gauges, test indicators to verify conformance.
• Inspect incoming materials for engineering specs and workmanship.
• Conduct in-process inspections during manufacturing operations.
• Perform final inspections prior to release and shipment.
• Identify and disposition nonconforming materials per procedures.
• Familiarity with nonconformance reporting and corrective actions.
