Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a quality, inspection, metrology, similar manufacturing role, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of quality systems and standards, including ISO and internal quality procedures.
• Experience working with optical components and precision-manufactured parts preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions within defined responsibilities.
• Ability to use MS Office, MS Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and testing of manufactured parts to determine product acceptance or rejection.
• Execute final inspection and provide final acceptance of product prior to shipment.
• Accurately record, verify, and report inspection results and measurement data.
• Prepare and maintain customer inspection data packets and quality records.
• Work collaboratively with Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure quality requirements are clearly understood and met.
• Read and interpret optical and traditional engineering drawings and specifications.
• Follow detailed work instructions, procedures, and inspection plans.
• Conduct optical testing as required by customer or internal specifications.
• Maintain organization of inspection activities and make decisions within the scope of assigned authority.
• Support compliance with ISO standards and internal quality system requirements.
• Travel may be required.
