Job summary

IDEX Corporation is seeking a Quality Technician for our Materials Science Solutions, Keene, NH site. You will inspect and validate manufactured parts, ensuring they meet customer specifications and internal quality requirements.

You will collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing to embed quality in processes and products. The role requires strong attention to detail, robust documentation, and experience with optical components.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in quality/inspection/metrology or similar manufacturing role.
• Strong understanding of quality systems and ISO/internal procedures.
• Experience with optical components and precision-manufactured parts preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use MS Office and MS Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify manufactured products to ensure they meet customer specifications and internal requirements.
• Perform final inspection and provide final acceptance prior to shipment.
• Record, verify, and report inspection results and measurement data.
• Prepare and maintain customer inspection data packets and quality records.
• Read and interpret optical and traditional engineering drawings and specifications.
• Follow detailed work instructions, procedures, and inspection plans.
• Maintain organization of inspection activities and report hazards.
