Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a quality inspection role in the manufacturing industry
• 2+ years of experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents
• 2+ years of experience with precision measuring instruments such as micrometer, caliper, gauge blocks, dial indicator, bore gauge, height gauge, optical comparator, profilometer, sine bar, and hardness tester
• 2+ years of experience utilizing quality control principles and inspection methodologies
• 1+ years of experience with manual GD&T inspection
• 2+ years of experience utilizing expert problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and suggest effective solutions

Responsibilities

• Accurate inspection of mechanical parts, components, and assemblies.
• Obtain and utilize various measurement equipment.
• Communicate all nonconformances found with machine operators and supervisors to resolve inspection, engineering, and manufacturing challenges.
• Document inspection results, maintain accurate records, and generate inspection reports.
• Efficient operation of established CMM and Keyence inspection programs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements and driving quality culture.
• Other duties as assigned by Quality Manager
