Lexair Inc. is seeking a Quality Inspection Technician to ensure parts and materials meet blueprints and quality standards.

You will inspect diverse parts with precision gauges and coordinate measuring equipment, aligning with customer specs and internal QA requirements. The role emphasizes tool calibration, data entry into ERP, and collaborative improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and accuracy in Lexair's production processes.

Formación

• Significant experience inspecting a variety of parts using standard measuring tools.
• Familiarity with operating a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, and instructions.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to provide constructive feedback.
• Experience in a CNC Machine Shop preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect a variety of parts using standard measuring and test equipment, as well as specialized gauging.
• Ensure all inspections align with customer specifications, internal quality standards, and applicable regulations.
• Support calibration of inspection tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and functionality.
• Support evaluations to ensure suppliers meet specified quality standards.
• Input inspection results into the ERP system for accepted and rejected parts.
• Verify the quantities of materials and hardware listed on the route sheet throughout the production process.
• Ensure all inspection results are accurately recorded and documented in the QA system.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and quality outcomes.
• Support develop and delivery of training programs for team members on quality standards, inspection tools, and processes.
• Support internal and external quality audits as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
