Job summary

Nammo Defense Systems Inc. in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Quality Technician responsible for in-process and final inspections of manufactured assemblies to verify conformance to blueprints and specifications.

You will use gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other tools; prepare inspection documentation; and support the Quality Engineering team to resolve issues. Must read and write English and obtain inspection certifications.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with 2–5 years of inspection experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to operate and document using computerized systems.
• Experience inputting and retrieving data via computers.
• Must be able to obtain BATF approval for explosive operations.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and manuals to determine inspection procedures.
• Measure dimensions with gauges, calipers, micrometers, and comparators.
• Perform First Article inspections as required.
• Maintain inspection documentation and non-conforming material records.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering to solve problems.
• Adhere to quality procedures and policies.
• Read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Work with team to meet deadlines.
